Freelance Master Data Manager vacature

What will you be doing?

You will be placed in the self-organizing Business Intelligence unit of the Supply Chain department that supports the core-business and market programs. You will be an integral part of the cross-departmental Data Excellence Program and work closely with the Technology department.

Evaluate current capability, define future state and intermediate states and guide the company on this journey
Help identify the master data domains
Present management with choices on where to prioritize and the strategic reasoning to do so
Establish and implement a Master Data Management plan
In collaboration with the Data Governance Manager, establish Master Data governance roles & responsibilities
Identify Master Data Owners
Work with Business and Application owners to design the best solution for managing Master Data
Ensure data hierarchies and global data standards are being followed and validated for the Master Data
Coordinate activities associated with data cleansing for integration of those Master Data
Define the template of information collected per master data
Define the project tasks, and competence profiles needed
Define the process and metadata required to ensure data privacy concerns are adequately addressed.

Strong people skills; experience in interacting with all levels of management and different cultures
Works well in multi-disciplined teams
Process and result oriented
Proactive and analytical approach
Strong experience with Master Data Management
Relevant experience with conceptual and logical data modelling
Experience with multi-national organizations (non-profit is a plus)
