Enterprise Architect

Location: Amsterdam

What will you be doing?

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect with a clear vision and a flexible and
transformative approach to ensure alignment between business and IT Architecture. You will
help guide the company to respond effectively to changing market needs and to capitalize on
disruptive trends. You will be able to explain the technology roadmap and translate it into
practical strategies and ambitions to all levels in the organization. Your innovative ideas will
become our reality and you will take the lead in the implementation of these strategies.

  • Reshaping the IT landscape and optimizing process flows;
  • Working closely with management to ensure enterprise architecture meets;
  • Current and evolving business needs and supports strategic change;
  • Being accountable for the alignment between the architecture activities across enterprise, ● technology, division, business and product;
  • Enterprise Architecture framework, repository, and deliverables (business roadmaps, enterprise impact assessments and core artefacts (e.g. services architecture model, applications landscape);
  • Providing technical guidance to complex projects and programs;
  • Providing EA services across the organization including developing a deep understanding of the Business Plan objectives, strategic direction, and operational practices;
  • Being accountable for the effective operation of the EA to escalate cross-divisional design issues for consensus and resolution from senior level management;
  • Setting up and actively participating in internal and external Business Design networks to maintain knowledge of industry best practices and share experiences.

As an Enterprise Architect, you will have or are…

  • At least 10 years’ experience in architecture or engineering roles, experience within the payment industry is a plus;
  • Five years’+ experience leading cross functional (architecture) teams;
  • Proven experience with the Agile Way of Working;
  • Proven track record of seeking the alignment of business and IT;
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and challenge the status quo;
  • Proven track record in successful senior stakeholder management in politically challenging environments;
  • A master’s degree in computer science or engineering is preferred as well as a certification in architecture such as TOGAF, SAFe Architect or Archimate
  • A convincing and inspiring communicator with an excellent level of English and preferably Dutch.
